Jane Parker Jazz Quartet |

|
Jane Parker's breathy vocals, reminiscent of Rickie Lee Jones or sometimes Billie Holliday are both as sultry and steamy as the bayou itself. Jane cut her musical teeth singing in bars and late night drinking clubs in and around London's West End. She is best known for her work with the band Lush Life whose musical adventures of heartache and redemption were capturered on the album Alligator lounge (33 Records) and whose live work included residencies at Ronnie Scotts, London, Cafe de Paris and Le Cafconce in Casablanca. She has just completed her first solo album... Parker is a bon vivant, a kittenish version of Madeleine Peyroux in love with the glamorous old world pleasures of cocktails, vampy femme fatales and indoor smoking, well aren't we all?
