The European Diploma Supplement
Throughout the European Union there are public initiatives to introduce the European Diploma Supplement, Yet the full potential of the EDS will only be realised by the use of information technology to facilitate communication and exchange of data between learners and education institutions. The technologies used must be open, and interoperable.
This workshop brings together colleagues on conceptual and policy development, on practical implementation and on a new approach to interoperability of information in technology enhanced learning. The aim is to learn from each other, to exchange knowledge and experience and identify ways to co-operate and accelerate the economic and social benefits of EDS through common standards.
